Frequently Asked Questions

Can I skip the first page (title page)?

Yes. Set the starting number to 0 and the first page will display "0" (or you can use it as your title page). Alternatively, set the starting number to 1 and the numbering will begin from the first page. For more advanced skipping, consider splitting the PDF first, numbering the section you want, then merging back together.

Will it work with large PDFs?

Yes. Since all processing happens in your browser, performance depends on your device. Most PDFs up to several hundred pages process in seconds.

Can I change the font or colour of page numbers?

The current version uses a clean Helvetica font in a subtle grey colour that works well with any document. Font size can be adjusted from small (8pt) to extra large (14pt).

Does it preserve the existing PDF content?

Yes. Page numbers are added as an overlay on top of the existing content. Nothing in your original PDF is modified or removed.

Is there a file size or page limit?

No hard limits. Free, unlimited use — no accounts, no daily caps, no watermarks added to your document.
